In February 2000, childhood friends, Breck Jones and John Hoagland formed Sun Properties to become the overall holding and managing company for Hoagland Commercial Realtors and multiple properties, which have been acquired and improved over the years. During this time, John Rulketter (J.R.), John Hoagland’s brother-in-law, became a partner of Hoagland Commercial Realtors and today is the President of Sun Properties. To better manage the cost and quality of building improvements, the partners decided to form Sun Construction in December 2001.
